Ingredients
1 lb ground sirloin
2 slices cooked bacon, finely chopped
1 cup baby bella mushrooms, sliced
1 cup bleu cheese crumbles, divided
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp barbecue seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 Tbs parsley, chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
1 bag Brookshire’s Fresh Baked Sourdough Rolls
additional condiments or toppings, as desired
Directions
  1. Place meat in a bowl. Add bacon, mushrooms, 1/2 cup bleu cheese, Worcestershire sauce, barbecue seasoning, salt and pepper. Fold the ingredients into the meat. Divide into 8 equal-sized balls, and flatten into patties. Heat a grill to medium-high. Grill the burgers for about 3 minutes per side.
  2.  To make the sauce, place remaining cheese in a bowl. Use the back of a spoon to mash with the mayonnaise and buttermilk. Add parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Serve the burgers with the bleu cheese sauce on sourdough rolls. Add other condiments or toppings, if desired.
